Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Allan Mergener, a Michigan native, became part of the Waldorf Animal Clinic team in May of 2015. He attended Michigan State University where he received a Bachelors degree in Animal Science, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and Masters of Science in Food Safety degree.Dr. Mergeners passion for veterinary medicine comes from a love of all animals, both large and small. His interests include general medicine, surgery and food safety.Dr. Mergener lives in Virginia with his wife, Anne, who is a veterinarian in the United States Army and their retired military working dog Nnick.In his spare time, Dr. Mergener enjoys spending time outside hiking, camping, kayaking and fishing
