Veterinarian Overview
David Moody D.V.M., Ph. D. joined us in 2015 - Dr. Moody graduated from Greely High School in 2000, then attended St. Michaels College receiving a B.S. in Biology in 2004. Although he was a pre-veterinary major at Saint Michaels, he began working in a plant research lab which led him to complete a M.S. in soil science at The Pennsylvania State University followed by a Ph.D. in Horticulture (plant biochemistry focus) at Cornell University. After nearly a decade of plant related work, Dr. Moody decided to pursue his true passion of caring for animals and earned his DVM from Cornell University in 2015. Dr. Moody enjoys surgery, dentistry, and has a particular interest in orthopedic disease and food/environmental allergies. His favorite part of being a veterinarian is meeting and interacting with clients and their pets. He is an avid fly fisherman and enjoys exploring the outdoors with his wife and their two dogs, Brown and Haywood. The Moodys also have a very friendly orange tabby cat named Carrot.
