Veterinarian Overview
Suzanne H. Best, DVM, CVA graduated from Oregon State University college of Veterinary Medicine in 1992. She practiced in Oregon for two years before moving back to Maine where she continued her practice in small animal medicine first working with other veterinarians then in her own practice. Dr. Best was certified in Veterinary Acupuncture in 1997 through the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society. In 2007 she completed extensive training in Chinese Herbal Medicine. Dr. Best is a dedicated veterinarian who frequently participates in community vaccination clinics. Most recently she has become involved in a community effort to provide feline neuter surgery to low-income people. Her vision of owning a clinic where both the clients and patients can feel comfortable was realized in February of 2011 when she opened her own veterinary clinic. She is very happy to bring quality veterinary care to the community where she lives with her husband, Don, and three sons.
