Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Edelbaum earned her B.S. in Animal Science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1991. In 2000, Dr. Edelbaum graduated from The Royal Veterinary College in Hertfordshire, England. After a life-long interest in alternative medicine, she began her training in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine studying Herbal medicine with Dr. Steve Marsden and Dr. Mona Boudreaux in 2006. In 2007 she studied acupuncture with Dr. Xie at The Chi Institute in Reddick Florida. Dr. Edelbaum continues to study Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine today. Dr. Edelbaum enjoys her integrative approach to medicine. She feels that this approach greatly benefits the patient. A Traditional Chinese Medical exam can reveal early disease processes before a pet may show any clinical signs or laboratory abnormalities. In her spare time, Dr. Edelbaum enjoys spending her time outdoors and with her animals.
