Had a very sick miniature poodle. Thrown up x4 in 2 hrs. Keeps licking her lips and unable to lay still for longer than a minute. Seems very nauseated and in pain. -----This vet had no interest in comfort for our pet----- 24 hr emergency vet service is not provided by this vet. I was told that throwing up and being in pain wasn't enough for a night-time clinic visit and compared this to a toddler. Hmmmm, not really sure what Emergency would be important enough to treat. CPR or wolf attack with a mangled body?? I'm an RN and understand a little about acute pancreatitis and the dangers of what the acid can do. Do not have this vet on for Night-time vet help----all he wanted to do was try to think of why this didn't warrant a clinic visit or pick up of medication.
