Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Katie Stoddart may be new to the Twin Cities, but as a life-long Midwesterner, Minnesota already feels like home. She grew up on a small island in Southeastern Michigan and later attended college at Northwestern University, graduating with a bachelors degree in Chemistry and Psychology. She then attended veterinary school at Michigan State University and received her DVM. A rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery brought her to the University of Minnesota. Upon completion of this program, she had already fallen in love with the Twin Cities. Her primary interests in veterinary medicine include internal medicine, cardiology, and care for geriatric patients. She is very excited to meet you and your furry friends! Outside of work, Katie enjoys living in Saint Paul and exploring the area. She loves to travel, with particular interest in trying new foods. She otherwise enjoys the outdoors, especially biking and being a novice at camping and rock climbing.
