Veterinarian Overview
I am a 2003 graduate, magna cum laude, of the University of Missouri Veterinary College. Since graduation, I have practiced in the Kansas City area. I came to Farview Veterinary Hospital in July of 2009 to start practicing small animal medicine. I have enjoyed practicing at Farview ever since and can honestly say I look forward to coming to work every day. Farview is a quality-care, patient-oriented, family-oriented practice with a long history in the area. My professional interests include: orthopedic procedures especially cranial cruciate ligament repairs, neonatal care, canine reproduction, and soft-tissue surgeries. On a personal note, I enjoy such hobbies as fishing, camping, hiking with the dogs and reading a good book. I have four dogs: Emma the Dachshund, Susie Monkey Face the Pomeranian mix, Arnold the Chihuahua and Ava the Rottweiler. All my dogs are black and tan and I like to refer to them as my Black-and-Tan Horde. I also have an elderly mare named Heaven who is in her mid-30s. She has been apart of my life since I was nine years old and I grew up having adventures on her back. I also keep a saltwater fish tank with brings me much stress-relief and joy. I love my pets immensely and like to think that I treat my patients with the same compassion and care.
