Veterinarian Overview
. Sandra Turner has been caring for animals at Imperial Hospital since 1994. She has always loved animals and wanted to work with them from a young age. She has a passion for exotic and avian pets because of their unique needs.Originally from Bridgeton, Missouri, Dr. Turner attended the University of Missouri Columbia where she attained her Bachelors Degree in Biology. She then went on to the University of Missouri Columbia College of Veterinary Medicine where she achieved her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine.Dr. Turner shares her home with her husband, Lynn and daughter, Nicole. Dr. Turner also has a Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Scotch, and Spruce a duck tolling retriever. She also has a Conure named Cricket, two cats, Bella and Spade, and a guinea pig (pictured) named Patches.
