Our newest associate, Kaylee, grew up in Carthage, Illinois. Animals have been a big part of her life for as long as she can remember. She was active in 4-H and FFA and stayed very busy training horses and giving riding lessons. Kaylee graduated from Carthage High School in 2005. She attended Western Illinois University graduating with a B.S. in agriculture science in 2009. She graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013 and immediately started at Quail Valley. She enjoys working with both small and large animals, but especially enjoys equine medicine. Kaylee married her husband Erik in 2010. They enjoy doing anything outdoors, such as riding horses, camping, and hunting. Kaylee especially loves to rodeo as she has been a barrel racer since she was 9 years old. Erik and Kaylee have a yellow Labrador Retriever named Oakley, two miniature Australian Shepherds, Gracie and Turner, and several Paint and Quarter Horses.
