Veterinarian Overview
With a special interest in feline medicine, Dr. Margaret Silvius started with Eagle Animal Hospital and Pet Resort in January of 2015.A native of St. Louis, Dr. Silvius pursued her undergraduate studies in Biology at Saint Louis University. While enrolled, she worked as a veterinary assistant at a small animal practice and became passionate about animal medicine. She graduated on the Dean's list in 2002. From there, it was on to veterinary school at the University of Missouri's College of Veterinary Medicine where she graduated in 2007.Dr. Silvius most enjoys being able to see new and different cases each day, while continually learning and helping patients. She is a member of the Missouri Veterinary Medical Association.When she's not at work,Dr. Silvius spends her time with her husband Dr. Mathew Silvius and their daughter and newborn son. The family also shares their home with a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Archie and a cat named Jade.
