Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Stephanie Stubbs is the owner of Animal Care Hospital, Long Beach. She graduated from Louisiana Tech University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Science. In 2000, she received her doctorate from Mississippi State University. Dr. Stubbs received a Master of Science degree in Epidemiology in 2006 from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She became a diplomat of the American College of Veterinary Preventive Medicine in 2012. Dr. Stubbs began her veterinary career at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center as a resident. From there, she was a veterinarian at Southwest National Primate Research Center from 2003-2007, a veterinarian at Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia from 2008-2009, and attending veterinarian at the University of Nebraska from 2009-2011. Before owning Animal Care Hospital, she was a veterinarian at Pampered Paws Animal Hospital in Oxford, MS in 2012. She is married to Bruce and she has 2 dogs: Scotty, cocker spaniel, age 16 and Suzy, dalmatian, age 15.
