Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Kennedy founded Northeast Animal Hospital in 1977 after serving in the United Airforce Veterinary Corp and two years of private practice with another clinic in the Jackson area. Dr. Kennedy has been very involved with organized veterinary medicine serving as president of the Jackson Veterinary Medical Association as well as president of the Mississippi Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Kennedy is the founding president of the original Animal Emergency Clinic in Jackson and has been named Mississippis Veterinarian of the year on two unprecedented occasions. Dr. Kennedy has also been involved with education in our state, serving as President of the board of Trustees at Jackson Academy as well as president of the Mississippi Private School Association. Dr. Kennedys passion for Veterinary Medicine is rooted in his own words, I love coming to work every day because every day is different when it comes to managing a practice and caring for animals. If I could do it all over again, I would not change anything.
