Dr. Bloch is amazing! She was my dog's vet from the time he was a pup until his passing at age 15. Dr. Bloch never rushed us through care visits, listened to our concerns, and provided us with answers to any questions we had. She has a calming demeanor and her knowledge of animals is vast. Our dog became ill around 9/10 years of age, showing lethargy and not wanting to eat or drink much. I brought him in to see Dr. Bloch who knew he needed emergency services. She was able to quickly get us into the NCSU Veterinary School's emergency clinic. After several tests, and a blood transfusion, he was diagnosed with IMHA. While he did recover, it took a toll on his overall health. During his post care, Dr. Bloch continued to answer our inquiries and helped us understand more about his illness. She was always excited to see him and made us feel welcome during all care visits. We enjoyed several more years with our dog luckily, but as he neared the end of life, I specifically requested Dr. Bloch for our appointment to allow our boy to pass peacefully. She was gentle, caring, and allowed us all the time we needed with him. She will always be my favorite Vet!!
