Veterinarian Overview

Dr. Tessneer graduated from NC State University in 1975 with a B.S. degree in animal science. From there he obtained his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University in 1980. He owned and operated three practices in Gastonia for many years before coming to Hinkles Pet Hospital in 2008. He is our dental guru. Dr. Tessneer is an incredible chef and keeps us all well fed. He enjoys cooking, gardening, hunting/fishing and singing in his church choir.
