Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Rountree has been a North Carolina girl her whole life. She attended North Carolina State University for undergrad and veterinary school. After graduating, she worked for a clinic in Chesapeake, Virginia. In November of 1998, Dr. Rountree opened Goose Creek Animal Hospital to provide veterinary services to her local community. Prior to vet school Dr. Rountree met her husband Scott, a Gates County native. The couple married in December 1995. They were blessed with the birth of their son, Victor in 2004. Dr. Rountree spends her time away from the clinic with her family and their three dogs, Amber, Sportster and Koda. The family enjoys spending time at the Outer Banks with family members and taking in a little fishing.
