Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Barth is a University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine graduate with 15 years of clinical practice experience. Dr. Barth has been with ECVETS since its opening in November of 2005.Prior to ECVETS, she practiced emergency and critical care at a 24 hours veterinary referral and emergency hospital in Hickory, NC. In addition to emergency medicine, her professional interests include shelter medicine and surgery.Dr. Barth is a board member of the Franklin County Humane Society, where she is involved in reducing pet overpopulation in our community and increasing the Humane Societys ability to find homes for healthy pets. In her personal life she enjoys sailing with friends, cooking with friends, yoga, and riding a Harley Davidson Fat Boy with her husband, Chuck.
