Veterinarian Overview
The newest addition to our veterinary practice, Dr. Jim Whitebone joined the Derry Animal Hospital team in 2013. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the New Hampshire Veterinary Medical Association and his professional interests include ultrasound, surgery and internal medicine.Dr. Whitebone was a Howard Hughes Research Scholar at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he graduated with a Bachelors degree in Animal Science and Biochemistry. He then earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine.Outside work, Dr. Whitebone enjoys mountain biking and hiking. He also shares his life with his cat Penelope and two dogs: Antoine, a Brussels Griffon, and Madeline, a Sheltie
