Veterinarian Overview
Originally from Rockland County, New York, Dr. Michael J. Norris received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University Of Pennsylvania. Dr. Norris practiced for five years in Westborough, Massachusetts before moving to New Hampshire. He then became an owner of Broadview Animal Hospital in 1988. He is currently a Pfizer Elite Speaker on perioperative pain management and a New Hampshire delegate to the American Veterinary Medical Association. He was past president of both the New Hampshire Veterinary Medical Association and the New England Veterinary Medical Association. He has particular interest in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, pain management and exotic animal medicine. Dr. Norris enjoys woodworking, fishing and fly tying in his spare time. He was past president of the Hackle & Tackle Club, a local fly fishing group. He and his wife share their home with two dogs, three cats and an Amazon parrot.
