Veterinarian Overview
Dr. J. Wesley Chapin grew up on his familys farm in upstate New York. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from North Dakota State University and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Iowa State University. Dr. Wes Chapin began his career in a mixed animal practice, but found his focus in small animal medicine and surgery. He joined the Broadview Animal Hospital team in 2005 and became an owner of the practice in 2008. He is passionate about soft tissue and orthopedic surgery and has completed the North American Principles of Fracture Management course. He has also been specially trained to perform Tibial Tuberosity Advancement (TTA) surgery. Dr. Chapin is currently a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the New Hampshire Veterinary Medical Association and the Veterinary Study Groups Organization. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, building, fly fishing and taking care of his three dogs, three cats, chickens, rabbits and flock of Romney sheep.
