Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Stephens is a recent graduate of the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri, where she earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree. She is originally from Massachusetts, and has always considered herself a New Englander. She graduated in 2009 from the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. At that time, Rebecca was also an avid member and captain of the universitys field hockey team. It was during her time in college that Rebecca discovered a passion for veterinary medicine. She has always loved science and animals, so veterinary medicine seemed like the perfect way to combine both of these interests. While she enjoyed her time out in the Midwest, Rebecca always knew she would end up back in the New England area. Rebecca has a special interest in small animal surgery and clinical pathology.Rebecca currently resides in Massachusetts with her dog, Taj. Her personal interests include running with her dog, painting, reading, field hockey, and watching all of the Boston sports teams
