Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Barlow has been an associate at the Weare Animal Hospital since June of 2006. She is a graduate of the Atlantic Veterinary College located at the University of Prince Edward Island, Canada. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Chemistry from Bates College in Maine. Dr. Barlow is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, New Hampshire Veterinary Medical Association, American Veterinary Society of Animal Behaviorists, and the American Veterinary Dental Society. From April of 2014 through April 2016, she was the President of the New Hampshire Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Barlow is a native of Londonderry, NH and just recently moved to Bow with her husband, Adam. She has three cats, a fluffy orange tabby Bailey, a dilute calico Callie, both of which she adopted from the Prince Edward Island Humane Society during veterinary school, and an all black cat named Bentley. Dr. Barlow and Adam also have yellow Labrador Retriever named Cannon and an English Cocker Spaniel, Pearl. Dr. Barlow and Adam have two young children, Hannah and Owen. An avid downhill skier, Dr. Barlow has skied all over northern New England but hopes to make a trip out West to tackle the powder. When not playing outside, she loves to knit and spin her own yarn. Dr. Barlow is excited to be living closer to the hospital, where she is enamored by her staff, clients and patients at the Weare Animal Hospital. There is nowhere else she would rather work!
