Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Picone grew up in Newark, New Jersey. He attended Rutgers University before a four year enlistment in the U.S. Air Force. He is a 1974 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Fairleigh Dickenson University and a 1978 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating, Dr. Picone became an associate and then a partner at Audubon Veterinary Associates. At that time, the practice was owned by Dr. J. Simmons. When Dr. Simmons retired, Dr. Picone took over the practice. Dr. Picone enjoys staying current with veterinary medical advances, as well as horseback riding, American history, gardening, reading and cooking. He and his wife have two sons and numerous animals.
