Veterinarian Overview
I graduated veterinary school from Michigan State University in 1982 after having received a degree in Microbiology and Public Health from MSU in 1977. I am a small animal practitioner in a 2-veterinarian practice. I have been a member of the New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association since coming to New Jersey in 1984. From 1989 to 1995 I became active in the NJVMA, first on the legislative committee and then later as chair of the committee. I was elected to the post of Treasurer in 1993 and served in that capacity until 2003 when I was elected to President 2004-2005. In 1997, I received the NJVMA Service Award 1997. I am also a member of AVMA and a member of Southern NJVMA, where in 1994 I was voted Veterinarian of the Year. I have been serving on the board of the Atlantic Coast Conference as treasurer. Outside of veterinary medicine I have a lovely wife, Janice, and two children. I have been involved in my local church, St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Mt. Holly. I have been a member of Mt. Holly Rotary Club since 1986 and served as its president 1999-2000. In 2001 the club honored me by presenting me with a Paul Harris Fellow. For recreation my wife, Janice, and I like to travel. I also enjoy playing golf and dabble in photography.
