Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Michael Izen completed his undergraduate studies at Brandeis University and then earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. A native of Bergen County, Dr. Izen has practiced in Teaneck, Budd Lake and Jersey City prior to joining our team. Dr. Izen has a special interest in internal medicine, especially endocrinology and nephrology.
In his spare time he stays active playing in a couple adult soccer leagues. He also enjoys watching the sport as well as reading detective/mystery fiction. He also loves spending time with Sammy, his seven year old westiepoo (west highland white terrier/miniature poodle mix).
