Veterinarian Overview
Michael C. Aromando DVM, MS was born in Livingston, NJ. He is a 1978 graduate of Livingston High School and spent most of his youth raising Thoroughbred horses on the family farm, near Lake Placid, NY. Here he learned to love and appreciate the equine athlete. In 1982, he graduated from the New York State College of Agriculture at Cornell with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science followed by his Master of Science in Physiology in 1988. He earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University in 1989. Dr. Aromando has been practicing veterinary medicine since then, initially working in the southern tip of New York. He moved back to NJ in 1995 to establish Town & Country Veterinary Service. In his spare time Dr. Aromando enjoys fishing the Saranac and Salmon Rivers in Upstate NY. He also likes to horseback ride on local trails and travel to historic locations such as Gettysburg, PA. When not working, Dr. Aromando operates his gentlemens farm in Chester, NJ where an assortment of animals are raised.
