Veterinarian Overview
Dr. JaJa Tsai obtained her veterinary degree from Purdue University in 1995. With a strong interest in pain management and geriatric medicine, she pursued further advancement in order to provide both Eastern and Western medicine for her patients. In 2000, She was awarded certification in Veterinary Acupuncture (CVA) through the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society. There are only 14 other veterinarians in NJ that hold this prestigious certification. She furthered her Eastern education by completing Chinese Herbal Medicine Courses, and soon became recognized as one of the top specialists in eastern veterinary medicine in the country. In the following years, she taught Acupuncture for IVAS, and recently, in 2014 she was accepted as a member in the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management. From 2000-2002 she was Treasurer for the Metropolitan New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association & was President of the organization from 2003-2004. She loves to stay active by attending dog shows and obedience trails with her collies and pekingese.
