Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Hill grew up in southern Kentucky and attended Morehead State University where she followed the pre-vet program of studies. She then entered Tuskegee University Veterinary School in Alabama, graduating seventh in her class as a member of the Veterinary Honor Society. A move to New Jersey took her to one of the busiest emergency care facilities in the country, and there, she fell in love with critical care and nursing and went on to develop her skills in preventative care surgery and medicine. Once she married and started a family, she began working part-time at a local hospital in Pluckemin. In January 2009, she followed her dream to become a house call veterinarian. By entering clientsÂ’ homes, she is able to examine a pet in its habitual environment and to truly understand the pet/owner relationship, allowing her to better diagnose both medical and behavioral conditions. She feels a part of the family, and as a result, is able to provide a truly personal level of treatment, ideally suited for both the owner and the pet. Dr. HillÂ’s greatest attribute is her compassion. She currently resides in Peapack with her husband, who is also a veterinarian, two children, a clowder of cats and a Labrador Retriever.
