Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Loftin has been a practicing veterinarian since 1986. She graduated from a veterinary school in the Philippines and went on to study clinical medicine at the University of Missouri Veterinary School until her graduation. Dr. Loftin feels living in the Philippines for four years satisfied her sense of adventure and taught her how to be self-reliant. Having always had a passion for science and animals, private practice has made her dreams come true. Her philosophy in life is to love learning and since veterinary medicine is forever evolving, she is constantly doing so by attending frequent continuing education lectures and seminars. Dr. Loftin feels she learns the most from her beautiful patients. She has commented that her patients teach her how to be strong, to enjoy everyday, and to love unconditionally. The other loves of Dr. Loftins life are Carl, her husband of 22 years, and Isaac, her 8-year-old yellow lab. She shares a passion for running, hiking with her boys, writing short stories, and singing. Although, she freely admits, most of her singing is done in the shower. Brooklyn born, Dr. Loftin has lived in New Jersey since practicing veterinary medicine. She absolutely adores the Tri-state area and all it has to offer.
