Dr. Preyer is so well educated, compassionate and informative. He took care of my girl Faith for maybe 6 years and I have no complaints. He always gives you a list of all viable options for treatment so you can make the most educated decision for your pets. I will only bring my fur boy to him from now on because the level of love and care that my sweet girl received. Thank you so much for everything.
Dr. Preyer has taken care of our 7 year old Chocolate Lab Riley since joining Durango Animal Hospital. He is great with my dog and always takes the time to address any questions or concerns. He is professional friendly and cares. The staff has also been amazing.
Something was wrong with my dog and was probably going to die anyway but this man's carelessness and lack of interest in my dog's health was apparent after he charged me almost $300 didn't explain very much of anything why my dog was pooping blood gave me an antibiotic on an hour after leaving the office my baby had a seizure in my arms and died. I immediately called Durango animal hospital and very upset and crying while my dog was still dead in my arms and when they told me they were not going to refund my money which would be the least they could do I told them my soulmate the love of my life just died in my arms I wish I could do the same then I told them you understand I'm going to sue the bleeped out of you right and then I hung up the phone a family member of mine know somebody that works there and when that person pulled the report the report had been changed saying my dog's temperature was low after I had been told by them that her vitals were normal and that they wanted to keep her for observation but we didn't have the money and we wanted to take her home which is a complete and total lie because if I would have known my dog needed any further care and that I wasn't just overreacting I would have done anything in my power I would have stood on the sidewalk with a sign asking for money until I came up with whatever it was to keep my dog alive but they told me it was $280 and here's this magic potion and your daughter is going to be just fine it's been over two months now and I still I'm miserable without her and now I'm going to do everything in my power to make sure everybody knows that this man did not care about my dog's well-being, and I did start by sitting in a consumer complaint form to the board of veterinarians against dr. Dejannon Preyer
