Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Lily Prado was born and raised in Orange County California. She has been a part of the veterinary industry for nearly 10 years, working as a veterinary technician for 5 years while earning her bachelors in Animal and Veterinary Science from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Following her undergraduate studies she worked for one year as a customer service representative at Antech Diagnostics, a veterinary diagnostic laboratory. She then started veterinary school at Ross University on the island of St. Kitts in the Caribbean and completed her clinical training at the University of Illinois. Dr. Prado joined the team at South Buffalo Springs Animal Hospital in February 2016 and is happy being back in the west near family and friends. Her veterinary interests include soft tissue surgery. Dr. Prado is the proud mom of a senior pug named Goomba, two kitties named Pebbles and Luna and the most recent addition a French bulldog named Chewy. Dr. Prado holds the human animal bond in high regard and works hard to strengthen that bond among her clients and their pets. In her free time, Dr. Prado enjoys watching documentaries, music and exploring Las Vegas.
