Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Farmer began working with animals at age 18, cleaning kennels at a veterinary hospital in his home state of Alabama. He was hooked. While pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science at Auburn University, Dr. Farmer worked at the university's veterinary school in the dairy, milking cows, and in the parasitology lab. After graduation, he moved to St. Kitts to pursue a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Ross University. "Having lived in the South and then the Caribbean, I did not know much about New York City. But, after a one week vacation in Brooklyn, I knew that this would be my forever home."
