Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Emily Caruana grew up in Clarence, New York and graduated from Canisius College of Buffalo in 2006. She received a DVM degree from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. Before joining the Killewald Small Animal Hospital team in May 2015, Dr. Caruana practiced veterinary medicine in a private practice, an animal shelter, and pet rescue organizations in Columbus, Ohio. Her special interests include small animal preventive medicine, soft tissue surgery, and shelter medicine. In her spare time, Dr. Caruana enjoys cooking, being outdoors, and spending time with her husband, daughter and dog. She is very happy to be back in New York, and we are happy to have her on our team!
