Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Grey is a native New Yorker, born in Manhattan, growing up in the city, Queens, the West Indies, and Westchester. Dr. Grey always wanted to be a veterinarian, since she was five years old. Following in the footsteps of her grandfather (DVM from the Ohio State University, 1919), she graduated from Tuskegee Institute in 1983, Magna Cum Laude. She also holds a B.S. in zoology form Michigan State University. Dr. Grey has been in private practice for 26 years, on Long Island. She supplemented her experiences in private practice with emergency medicine at the Nassau Animal Emergency Clinic in Westbury, alternating part-time and full time there, for 17 of those years. In addition, she taught veterinary technicians at Suffolk Community College, and has done volunteer work at the Tuba City Veterinary Clinic in Tuba City, Arizona, on the Navajo reservation.
