Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Kiara Bernat, our Chief of Staff joined the Baldwin Harbor Animal Hospital team in July 2015. She grew up in Upton, Massachusetts and currently lives in Breezy Point, New York. She received an undergraduate degree from Lesley University in 2008 and a DVM degree from the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University in 2014. Before joining Baldwin Harbor Animal Hospital, Dr. Bernat practiced at the Ocean State Equine Associates in Rhode Island. Her medical interests include surgery and infectious diseases. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, horseback riding, gardening and cooking. She has a German shorthaired pointer and a Leonberger mix at home.
