Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Bethany Souers is a graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. She learned of her innate love for animals at the age of 6 when her family welcomed their first puppy. She went on to achieve her Bachelor in Science from Cornell University. Over the years Dr. Souers has participated in volunteer organizations including the Hudson Valley Raptor Center, the Wild Animal Sanctuary in Colorado, and a research expedition in South Africa near Kruger National Park. Since achieving her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2009, Dr. Souers has practiced small animal medicine in Vermont and Maine. She enjoys all aspects of general practice, with special interest in dentistry, surgery, and radiology. Dr. Souers now returns to her native NY roots here in the Hudson Valley and continues to learn, and love, the art of helping to enrich the lives of her patients and the families they represent. Dr. Souers embraces the companionship of 5 rescues: 3 wonderful dogs and 2 independent tabby cats.
