Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Kevin Cronin, DVM A Native Long Islander, Dr. Cronin attended S.U.N.Y at Farmingdale to study Veterinary Technology after graduating from high school. He transferred to New Mexico State University where received his Bachelors in Science. Upon graduation, he was accepted to Colorado State University where he graduated in 1998. He returned to New Mexico to practice veterinary medicine. In 2000 he returned to New York. Dr. Cronin has worked in many different fields of veterinary medicine since returning to Long Island. These fields include general , emergency and shelter medicine, as well as a mobile spay/neuter surgeon. In August 2008, Dr. Cronin began work on his life long dream and started construction of Bellmore Veterinary Hospital, which is located in the heart of Bellmore Village. He incorporated all the materials necessary that he believed would construct a modern and efficient animal hospital. Dr. Cronin shares his home with his family and a host of pets including two dogs, five cats, two turtles, a lizard and a snake. His hobbies include old cars, woodworking and home improvements. When not working, he volunteers as a member of the Wantagh Fire Department.
