Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Perry has been working with animals for over 15 years. She grew up and currently lives in Ditmas Park, Brooklyn. She is glad to be back and offering veterinary services after spending many years away from the city in pursuit of her undergraduate (Wellesley College) and veterinary (Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine) degrees. She firmly believes that there are many different ways to treat each patient she works with, it's just a matter of finding out which plan works best for her patient and their owner. She is more than happy to discuss health issues in detail with pet owners, because understanding is the first step in creating a successful treatment plan. In addition to practicing traditional veterinary medicine, she is also certified in canine rehabilitation therapy. This additional training allows her to offer alternative options for patients where traditional therapy hasn't worked. She opened PAWSitive Veterinary of New York in 2011 to answer the growing need for a veterinarian in the neighborhood. In her spare hours, she likes to spend time with friends, family and her dog Geneva and cat Fredo
