Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Polnak is the most recent addition to our veterinary staff. He grew up in Waterford, attended Shenendahowa High School and obtained his undergraduate degree from SUNY Albany. In 1999 while still in high school he joined our staff at the Boght Veterinary Clinic working in our kennels. During his college career and after, he continued to work for the clinic as a veterinary assistant. Many of our long time clients remember him working as assistant to our retired partner, Dr. Oles, and will now be bringing their pets to see him as a veterinarian. In 2009 he left the practice to attend veterinary school at St. Georges University in Grenada. He completed his clinical year at Georgia Tech, and was awarded his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from St. Georges in January of this year. He hopes to pursue his professional goals in acupuncture for companion animals, specialized surgery and exotic animal medicine. His interests outside of the office include scuba diving, camping, and hiking.
