Veterinarian Overview
Dr Tina Ting graduated from St. Marys College of Maryland magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and later went on to complete her undergraduate veterinary studies at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Dr Ting then received her doctorate from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine with cum laude honors. She returned home to Long Island after completing her veterinary studies and began her career in small animal medicine. Dr Ting has diverse interests and training in various areas such as emergency medicine, internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, dentistry, and holistic therapy. Dr Ting is a certified veterinary acupuncturist and enjoys watching patients improve with alternative techniques. Having the ability to perform integrative veterinary medicine allows Dr Ting to pull from the realms of eastern and western medicine and tailor patient treatment plans to obtain the best results. Although Dr Ting keeps a very busy schedule, when she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and fur children. Currently the furry family includes 7 cats (Marley, Yogi, Mac, Reilly, Mia, Henri, and Emmie) and 2 dogs (Lottie and Etta).
