Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Melissa Marsak earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Cornell University in 2013. She practiced in the Buffalo area for three years before joining Fayetteville Veterinary Hospital in August 2016. Dr. Marsak graduated from Liverpool High School and attended Boston University for undergraduate studies in biology and Spanish. Volunteering at an animal welfare organization in South Boston was her first experience in veterinary medicine. During a semester abroad in Madrid, Spain she did an internship at an equine hospital. Dr. Marsak treats all aspects of canine and feline health, with special interests in dentistry, dermatology, anesthesia and pain management.During her free time, she enjoys cooking, hiking with her dog Maisy, and watching movies. She and her husband love to travel, whether it's to camp in the North Country, scuba dive in the Caribbean or backpack through Europe. They are excited about returning to Central New York to be closer to family
