Veterinarian Overview
Dr. John Lu received his veterinary medical degree in 1986 in Beijing, China, continuing education in graduate school he received a Masters Degree in Bioengineering in 1989. At Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine located in West Lafayette, Indiana he accomplished clinical training in every aspect of modern veterinary medicine. He also worked as a pathology assistant at the prestigious Animal Medical Center in New York City, where he learned a great deal in linking causes and symptoms a whole body approach. Before moving to the States, Dr. Lu taught genetics in Beijing University as an Assistant Professor. He worked on a series of research projects in molecular biology and immunology which allowed him to have an in depth understanding of disease management. Dr. Lu always strives to develop safe, effective therapies beyond what textbooks teach by integrating acupuncture and Chinese herbs as a part of this practice. His goal is to take advantage of the best of healing in both western and eastern medicine.
