Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Scherr has experience not only with dogs, cats and other pocket pets, but he is also skilled with birds and reptiles. He is a graduate of Cornell University and has practiced veterinary medicine since 1980. He is the former owner of Hopewell Animal Hospital in Dutchess County and lives in New Paltz with his three children and his wife of twenty-nine years. Dr. Scherr's personal interests are hiking and rock climbing.
