Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Katharine (Katie) LaVacca was born and raised in New York. After completing a Bachelor of Science degree at Elon University in North Carolina in 2011, she was inducted into the Biological Honor Society (Beta Beta Beta). She earned a DVM degree from Ross University in 2016, and completed her clinical year at the Cornell University Veterinary Hospital. Dr. LaVacca is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). While she enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, she has a special interest in both endocrinology and rehabilitation/physical therapy.
