Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Seleen, our Chief of Staff, completed undergraduate and veterinary medicine studies at Cornell University. After graduation, he attended Colorado State University as an intern for a year where he was instrumental in helping the Peregine Falcon. His efforts in saving the Peregine Falcon, an endangered species at that time, sparked his interest in wildlife rehabilitation. Dr. Seleen purchased the Jamestown Veterinary Hospital in 1978 where he has continued to donate his time helping wildlife to better serve the community.
