In 1995, Dr. Myers started his own small animal clinic in Phoenix, Maryland, which is a suburb of Baltimore. After selling the Phoenix, Maryland clinic in 2000, Dr. Myers worked for Banfield Animal Hospital and transferred to Akron, Ohio. While in Ohio, he trained in California under Dr. Marvin Mackie, a world-renowned pediatric spay/neuter specialist. Dr. Myers purchased Machias Veterinary Clinic in the summer of 2006.
