Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Buscemi received her Bachelors of Science in 2002 from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. During that time she spent a semester abroad in Brisbane Australia. In 2005 she obtained a Masters of Science from Adelphi University. Her thesis dissertation and much of her research involved Canine Lymphoma. In 2009 she graduated from Western University of Health Sciences with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. Her special interests include Oncology and Internal Medicine. She is USDA Class I accredited.She spent the past 5 years working at a small animal practice in Queens and is excited to be the newest addition to Garden City Veterinary Care. When Dr. Buscemi is not working she is keeping busy spending time with her husband, two young children, dog Bosch and FIV+ cats Mr. Jeeves and Mimi. She enjoys surfing, SCUBA diving and travelling.
