Veterinarian Overview
Monroe Animal Hospital proudly welcomes Dr. Joan Gramazio. Dr Gramazio earned a doctorate in veterinary medicine in September 2013 from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. While at school she was part of the American Association of Bovine Practitioners and became AI certified. She attended the AABPs annual conference in St Louis Missouri and through the University of Minnesota learned introduction to Dairy Comp 305 herd management. She was also the herd record keeper for Ross University using CattleMax. For her veterinary externships Dr. Gramazio worked with production swine and production cattle. Prior to veterinary school she worked at a local farm milking cattle while earning an A.S.S in Veterinary Technology and a B.S. in Biology from Albany State University. Her interests include exotic species, small and large animals and pigs! Her hobbies include rebuilding classic cars, oil painting, drawing and fishing. When she is not devoting her love, skill and compassion caring for your loved ones she enjoys spending time with her dogs Devo, Chuck, Boo, Maxine and Bella!
