Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Panella is a 2006 graduate of the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. She worked in general practice before finding her passion in Shelter Medicine and has worked at Humane Society of Westchester for more than 10 years. Dr. Panella does hundreds of spay / neuter and specialty surgeries each year while caring for all of the shelter residents in need of medical attention. There is no rest for the weary in the veterinary suite! When not at the shelter, you can find Dr. Panella at home in Yonkers with her husband Joe and their 6 (yes 6!) cats.
