Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Ken Nicolson graduated with distinction from Cornell University with a degree in Biology before going on to complete his veterinary degree at Tufts University in Massachusetts in 1992 where he was inducted into Phi Zeta, the Veterinary Honor Society. Since then he has worked in a variety of practices ranging from 24-hour care facilities to general practices in California, Massachusetts and New York. He has a broad interest in veterinary medicine including some exotics, wellness, general medicine and surgery. He is excited to be part of the team at Manhattan Veterinary Group and becoming involved with the local veterinary community. He currently lives in Yonkers with his wife Robin and their cats Jewel and Homer. When his duties as Medical Director and Internship Coordinator at Manhattan Veterinary Group and Area Medical Director for VCA's Northeast region allow, he enjoys riding his motorcycle, collecting Tiki mugs and listening to music.
