Veterinarian Overview
Dr. Susan Hubbard has an extensive history of caring for pets in the Greece area and has been the director of Greece Animal Hospital since 2012. A native of Rochester, New York, Dr. Hubbard began her career caring for animals at Stone Ridge Veterinary Hospital as a kennel attendant and animal care assistant in 1986. She returned to work for Monroe Veterinary Associates as an associate veterinarian at Pittsford Animal Hospital from 2000 to 2002, and at Stone Ridge Veterinary Hospital from 2002 to 2012.Dr. Hubbard attended the University of Rochester and received her Bachelor's Degree in Biology in 1994. She continued her education at Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine, where she was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. Dr. Hubbard also practiced medicine at Barton Heights Veterinary Hospital from 1998 to 2000. Her professional interests include dermatology, internal medicine and dentistry. Dr. Hubbard is also active in the care and treatment of puppies and guide dogs for Guiding Eyes for the Blind.At home, Dr. Hubbard enjoys reading, gardening, and spending time with her family, which includes her husband Todd and their four children. She also shares her home with Finn, a yellow lab; two guinea pigs named Oreo and Cookie; and two leopard geckos - Geronimo and Annabelle.
